Review: Superflux x Fast Machine Aquamarine IPA

Aquamarine is a collaboration IPA brewed between Superflux and Fast Fashion. It's described as a luscious IPA dry hopped with Peacharine, Motueka, New Zealand Cascade and Citra Cryo hops. 6.5% ABV.

Appearance: Pretty much your typical juicy IPA with a thick orange juice appearance to it, thick amount of snow white head on top. The head eventually diminishes to a light layering on the top of the glass and a bit of foam clinging to the side of the glass.

Aroma: Sweet with tropical notes of pineapple, melon, orange and lemon. It's almost like a Five Alive. The beer is tad sugary while the hops are again, tropical but also a bit floral, there's almost a hard candy like vibe in there (like a Jolly Rancher)?

Taste: Pretty much what I described in the aroma. It's a very sweet and tropical-forward IPA that tastes more like a nice beachside beverage than a beer. It's got a great medley of fruit-like flavours in there like pineapple, orange, lemon and even has a hint of creaminess that makes me think piña colada.. but that requires coconut, which this has none of in any sense. Very smooth and savourable.

Overall Thoughts: Deeeeeeecent, don't really need to say anything else, it's a very welcoming IPA.
