Review: 2 Crows Perfect Situation IPA

Today's sampling is Perfect Situation New England IPA by 2 Crows Brewing out of Halifax. The IPA is brewed with barley, wheat, oats, hops, water and yeast. 6.1% ABV

Appearance: Kinda murky with a lemon to orange body kind of appearance to it, opaque. The head has a moderate amount of a snow white hue to it, which diminishes rather quickly to leave behind a nice layered lacing on the glass.

Aroma: Tropical, fruity IPA with a melon-forward profile. Notes of oats, barley, pineapple, lemon, and a surprising aroma that reminds me of mint for some reason.

Taste: Moderately bitter NEIPA with a floral hop presence. Moderately herbal with a mint-like presence again. Fruity notes of melon, guava, lemon, a tad bit of apple and pear. Decent amount of cereal presence, good amount of oats, tad barley graininess to it.

Overall Thoughts: This was a fairly quick review because the beer was gone before I knew it. Wasn't expecting the herbal presence to it. Moderately bitter, oaty, easy to drink NEIPA. I think it's almost time to order another shipment of beer by 2 Crows. Edit: It really is due time...
