So, I just broke my favourite lens, my 50mm lens that I purchased in 2010, so now I'm relying on a cheap 18-55mm lens. I'm not too happy.. but I never am so what's new? I don't make money off this blog so 🤷🏻♂️but the point is to share my opinion on beers, not to make money!
La Brasserie Nonsuch came out with a Raspberry Kettle Sour a week or two ago, I'm excited to try it! 5.6% ABV.
Appearance: This may be the lightest ABV beer Nonsuch has ever come out with at 5.6%! It has a hefty ruby red raspberry juice appearance to it, light amount of head.. mostly around the rim.
Aroma: An infinite amount of raspberry juice.. it's sweet, it's tart, it's raspberry! Lots of raspberry, sugar, bit of tartness, light sour cherry.. very jammy.
Taste: Quite tart and sweet. There's a very hefty graininess to the beer that gives off a lot of grainery/grainy chip vibe to it. Lots of raspberry sweetness, good amount of tart notes. Lemon, notes of grain, something that reminds me of sour candy, I don't know what else.. oh, raspberry jam.
Overall Thoughts: Raspberry jam, grain, whatever I said in the taste profile. Oh! The logo looks like a retro CBC logo!
