I got the Erdinger Weissbier the other day, but finally had it today. I've had it 2 years back, but I don't have any recollection on how I thought it was. PS - I'm really not a fan of my camera lately, I find photos have gotten really blurry, bland as of lately, so I'm not a fan of taking as many photos anymore. I don't know what's wrong. Myself or the camera. I took 35 photos, different settings, RAW, JPG, and this is the only one that turned out non blurry.
The Erdinger Weissbier beer is 5.2% ABV, it's apparently the "most popular wheat beer in the world", never knew that. It comes in a 500mL bottle, and costs around $3.50.
Appearance: Pours a hazy light orange meets copper colour, head is kind of beige.
Aroma: Pretty plain for a weissbier, smells like an average ale, a bit of wheat, alfalfa, that's about it.
Taste: Really nothing to write home about. It tastes like a lighter wheat ale, a slight sweetness, not citrusy/bananay. Just average. There's a kind of sour/bitter aftertaste that sticks to my tongue long after the beer's gone. Not really a fan, pretty meh for a wheat beer - and I love wheat beers.
